A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Protection Adviser to join the friendly Sales Team at Covertree – a protection brokerage with a difference.
We are looking for a Sales person either with experience in offering protection products, or a sales professional wanting to change career and looking to enter the world of Financial Services. We pride ourselves on working very closely with the Providers, to make sure we understand the customer’s needs and give the right advice for each individual case.
Covertree’s Leadership team have over 30 years combined experience in the financial services sector and are incredibly passionate about doing what’s right for the customer. They have exciting plans for the future, which will set Covertree apart from all other advisory firms in the UK.
With a starting basic £20,000 – £30,000 pa (depending on experience), you will be working with professional, customer focused, like-minded individuals, with an uncapped commission structure and a realistic earning potential of £45K OTE.
We offer endless support, with consistent, on-going training and are keen to support you and will sponsor you to achieve industry-related qualifications, such as RO5, RO1 or Cemap.
The Role Includes:
This is a telephone-based role, but there is no cold calling. All leads are generated in-house via our website.
The products you will be offering to customers include Income Protection, Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Business Protection and Buildings/Contents cover.
You will be required to complete a thorough Fact Find with the client and present a recommendation on the appropriate cover plan, with a view to completing the sale.
You will follow up with the client and be responsible for ongoing account management, ensuring a high customer retention rate.
Being clear and transparent is paramount at all times.
We reward advisers who adhere to and achieve the highest of standards in terms of compliance, as set by the regulator (Financial Conduct Authority).

You will need:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in telephone sales, with a proven track record of success, ideally within the financial services sector.
A confident and friendly telephone manner with sales experience, although full training will be given.
A positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent listening skills.
